Made for Europe - March 2012
On March 16, 2012, Dan Cont has represented our project in the regional phase of the National contest "Made for Europe" 2012.
It was a very nice presentation in front of the commision who came to evaluate our project and we are happy to be elected to participate in the national phase, in April 2012, when Dan will present our project and the item we chose to disseminate on this occasion: the Optional course "Origami - the workshop of imagination".
Here are some photos from the event:

8th of March - Mother's Day and Woman's Day celebrated in our school
English version:
Now, when the flowers have their best perfume, when each smile is a whispered story, the students from Şcoala „Vasile Alecsandri” Baia Mare have brought a very touching homage to their mothers and teachers.
Our headmistress, Adina Cosma, opened the art exhibition on this occasion, containing special cards and “martisoare” made by our students coordinated by their teachers: Marcela Pop, Monica Petruş, Marcela Zaplac, Octavian Pop.
There has also been a show presented in the main hall of our school, by the students from grade 5A , the theatre team and the school choir, coordinated by their teachers: Elena Călincan, Anca Găvrişan, Corina Cordea şi Adrian Iercoşan. The show contained some schetches presenting scenes from the best-known stories for shildren, where different figures of mothers appear, then a selection of poems and songs for the occasion. All the people (mothers and teachers), who attended the show, enjoyed it and appreciated its quality.
In the end, the students offered all the women present at the show very beautiful Mother’s Day cards.
It was a very touching moment.

8th of March - Mother's Day and Woman's Day in Romania
8th of March is celebrated in Romania as both Woman's Day and Mother's Day.
It is a time for children and men to celebrate their grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters and teachers.
This year my students prepared very nice cards for their mothers and teachers and wrote them short poems in Romanian and English. Tomorrow, they will give them to their mothers and wish them Happy Mother's Day.
I took some photos during the activities and also of the cards they made. They always like to see their photos on our project blog and this way they are very proud of themselves and their self-esteem increases.
Here is what they have worked on:
